
Ted Griswold: Advisor and Founding Member
Ted Griswold is an advisor to San Diego Spirit Soccer Club. He has been working with San Carlos youth sports for over 16 years. His experience includes coaching over a dozen teams and acting as division director for the CSC recreational program and assisting with coaching CSC competitive teams.
Ted has also volunteered as a coach and manager in Mission Trails Little League. He coached for several years and served as President of the Board of Directors for the Navajo Bobby Sox and Navajo Girls Softball Leagues.
Griswold is currently on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Legacy Girls Softball Organization which helps female athletes realize their dreams of playing sports at the collegiate level. He is also a long-time active member of the Board of Directors of the Aquatic Adventures Science Education Foundation, which helps at-risk youth fulfill their educational and personal goals through the inspiration of marine sciences.
Ted is a member of the SDSU College of Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board and STEM Council Board, the SDSU Biological Field Stations Steering Committee, and the San Dieguito River Watershed Technical Advisory Committee. His is also on the Advisory Board for the San Diego Regional Sustainability Partnership.
Mr. Griswold is formerly a member of the City of San Diego's Wetlands Advisory Board, Policy and Legislative Subcommittee, the Environmental Law Institute and the State Department of Toxic Substances Control Site Mitigation Update Advisory Group. In 2007 and 2008, he was selected for inclusion in the Southern California Super Lawyers® - San Diego list in the Environmental category.
