Mar Borowinski: Director of Development

Mar Borowinski is a native Southern Californian, moving to the San Diego area in 2002 so her daughter could play in a competitive-yet-close-knit community atmosphere, and has been involved with youth soccer since 1994.
Mar has over 25 years of diverse mid-senior level management expertise in supply chain, marketing, retail, and advertising functional areas with several multinational Fortune 500 corporations. Recently, she was awarded the Chairman’s Award for Product Growth and Innovation - 2008 and 2007, by Avery Dennison.
From 2004-2008, Mar served as a volunteer member for the organizing event committee, City of Hope Golf Charities. Fundraising from these events supported the completion of the Helford Clinical Research Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility at the City of Hope, which combines treatment for patients in an environment that comforts and nurtures.
Mar joins our board to insure we address our player’s requirements and needs, insuring we are focused on the Voice of the Customer.  Inspiration taken from the years she worked for Toyota Motor Sales, she is absolutely committed to the fundamental belief that our board must “under-promise and over-deliver”.
